Privacy & data boundaries

How Seminal handles information.

This Privacy Policy explains how Seminal Public Insights LLC collects, uses, maintains, and shares information through its public website, research participation programs, and related data and intelligence services.

Effective date: January 1, 2026   ยท   Last reviewed: January 1, 2026

1. Information submitted through the site

We may collect information you choose to submit through contact forms, research participation forms, account or access requests, and other public-site interactions. This can include your name, email address, mobile number, geography or ZIP code, organization, inquiry details, and communication preferences.

2. Research participation data

If you participate in a survey, interview, or other study, we may collect your responses, eligibility information, scheduling details, and study-specific disclosures. Research answers may be combined, de-identified, summarized, or analyzed to produce findings, indicators, reports, datasets, or other intelligence products. Each study may provide additional notices about its purpose and handling.

3. Mobile numbers and SMS

We use mobile numbers to contact participants or provide an SMS program only when the applicable permission and program terms allow it. SMS consent is recorded separately from research participation and from any marketing permission. We honor STOP and HELP requests and maintain records needed to administer those choices.

Mobile numbers, SMS opt-in information, and SMS consent records are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We may share the minimum information needed with telecommunications, messaging, hosting, and platform providers that operate the messaging service for us. Those providers are service providers, not independent recipients of your SMS permission.

4. Communications preferences

You may receive operational messages related to a request, study, scheduling, account access, or a communication program you joined. Research SMS and marketing SMS, if offered, require separate choices. You can opt out of SMS by replying STOP, request help by replying HELP, or contact us through the Contact page.

5. Public and third-party information

Seminal may collect information from public records, public websites, published reports, market activity, and other lawful sources. We may use service providers or client-provided information for a defined research or data requirement. We do not represent that public information is complete, current, or error-free.

6. Derived information and products

We may create derived information such as classifications, scores, indicators, segments, relationships, trends, or other analytical outputs from multiple inputs. Derived outputs are used for research, analysis, reporting, and qualified data or intelligence services. They should not be assumed to be a direct statement made by an individual or an absolute prediction about future events.

7. Cookies and analytics

The site may use cookies, server logs, and analytics tools to operate pages, remember basic preferences, understand aggregate traffic, and improve the public experience. Browser settings can limit cookies, although some site functions may not work as intended. Analytics providers may process technical information under their own terms.

8. Service providers and sharing

We may share information with vendors that host the site, deliver email or SMS, provide security, process forms, support research operations, or help produce an agreed deliverable. We may also share information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not promise that information can never be disclosed; we limit disclosure to the purpose and context that require it.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and service. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please use care when deciding what to submit.

10. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, to honor consent and opt-out records, to maintain research integrity, resolve disputes, satisfy legal or accounting requirements, and protect the service. Retention periods can vary by study, record type, and applicable obligations.

11. Rights and requests

Depending on where you live and the applicable law, you may ask us to access, correct, delete, or explain our handling of information, or to update a communication preference. We may need to verify a request and may retain limited information where required to honor an opt-out, prevent abuse, or meet a legal obligation.

12. Contact

Questions about this policy, research participation, privacy requests, or SMS support can be sent to info@seminalinsights.com or submitted through the Contact page. Please include enough detail for us to understand the request, but do not send passwords or sensitive information by email.
